Crocker’s Boatyard is an ideal location for a short-haul. Pricing includes hauling, bottom washing, and re-launching with 3 lay days on land, for DIYers.
Our factory-trained technicians can perform a wide range of repairs consisting of basic boat maintenance items, running gear repairs to full engine repowers. With our extensive list of trusted service providers, we can provide any services that are outside our normal scope of work.
Paint, Fiberglass, and Varnish
With a 20’x60’ heated clean and well-lit modern paint booth, we can complete cosmetic or structural fiberglass repairs, minor paint or gel coat repairs, or full Awlgrip paint jobs.
Complete bottom paint jobs with media blasting, and barrier coat application, and bottom paint are no problem for our talented staff. Our staff can polish and wax your hull sides and topsides to bring back the shine to like new condition.
If your brightwork is looking tired, let us strip to bare wood and build up many coats to bring the luster back.
Let our talented staff provide protection to your boat when stored outside in our yard. Our shrink- wrapping includes all strappings, supports, and vents to allow your boat to weather the outside elements. Our shrink wrap covers down to the waterline, protecting your hull sides from UV exposure. No outside shrink-wrapping is permitted.
Winterization & Commissioning
When it comes time to put your boat away for the winter we can handle the winterization of water systems, engines, generators, and A/C units. During the wintertime, we also can perform engine maintenance tasks such as replacing bellows, reconditioning the propeller, and replacing zincs.
Performing these items will facilitate a quick launch. Come springtime, we can tune up your engine, change fuel filters, and get your boat ready for the summer.
We offer crane service with our 30-ton Terex crane which can include but is not limited to engine pulls, mast rigging & de-rigging, and loading & unloading marine materials on or off vessels for commercial or pleasure.
